I realized today, that since
I have been smoking in my
room, I haven’t written anything.

It seems I need to separate
myself from whatever I’m doing,
like sitting a small bath-type
room, to remember to write.

That’s gay.

So, here I am, all gay,
smoking in my bathroom,
writing a poem, feeling the
a/c blast on me, and as
I sit here, all gay, with
a candle burning, I look
to the turbulent flame for
inspiration.

The vent in the floor is
trying hard to put out my
candle. It’s whipping around
all over the place. Hot wax
bleeds from all sides, but it
won’t die.
