Mystery Can – Day Six (James) by James @ 1:07 am

    Day six.

Much respect for Jay and company over at the plug. This is way more hassle than it seems.

Oh, and I have had totally easy food to deal with each day.

There goes the Chad. Trying to be all fancy again.

Quit it. You hear me, boy?

Today’s main course: Taquitos… Steak in corn tortillas. Yum!

The moment of truth. I’m really hoping for…

    Oh, sweet Christ.

It’s that damn rice & beans stuff from day two.

See, I told you it was flecked with chili powder…

Of all the weight I may have gained in the last week, eating every day and what-not, two cans of this stuff  and the effect it had on me may well put me back into the red.

Thematically, it works. It’s midnight when I’m eating, so I certainly shouldn’t feel any repercussions from it tonight. We’ll save the fireworks for tomorrow. Everything will be fine.

    This pep talk isn’t helping.

A while later, plates were emptied. Mouths were saltied.

Yeah, tonight, the Chad did help me a little. He really like it. He is apparently used to eating things that taste like this or much worse or something.

In keeping with the rules, though, I did eat way more than half of it.

I have to say, with the taquitos and some multigrain tortilla chips, it was fairly enjoyable. We shall see what kind of shape I am in tomorrow.

Now, for the last day of my first Mystery Can, I have only one can left. It is the big one with writing on top. You may remember it from the first post. I plan to have it with lunch tomorrow, if I am feeling up to it at that time of day.
